My black labrador female dog became afraid of walking on the laminate and cushion floor after i had her spaded. Slipping during the act of rising compounds the problem by several magnitudes. Some dogs are outright afraid of walking on a slippery floor. Or your dog might be so terrified of your tiles that he will avoid walking on them altogether.

He is not scared of the hardwood floors but struggled to walk on them without sliding. It seems she is coming around with the cushion floor but not having any luck with the laminate. My dog is 17 with back problems that cause his rear to wobble and thus he sometimes falls.
